I know everyone’s tastes buds are different with texture/tastes/flavors etc. but for me, this is the best way to cook a hot bowl of sugary sweet (zero sugar) oatmeal, hands-down. It’s so rich in flavor, I just can’t get enough of it when I eat an E breakfast!
First, if you don’t have “Brown Sugar” already made and in your pantry, start here first! It’s super easy and fast to mix up.
Next, add your oats AND water to a small pot and turn stove to med-high. This is one special way to make sure your oats are nice and soft.
When it starts to boil, set the timer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally so it won’t stick to the bottom of the pot.
After 3 minutes take pot off heat and cover with a lid for 3 more minutes. This is when the magic happens.
When the timer beeps, put the perfectly textured oatmeal in a bowl and add brown sugar and unsweetened vanilla almond milk.
- ¼ Cup Plus 2 TBS Oats
- ¾ Cup Water
- 1-3 tsp. Zero Calorie Brown Sugar
- 1-2 TBS Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
