I’m elated to share with you a new snack and/or all occasion party dip/spread!! Just in time for the festivities of this Thanksgiving and Christmas season! {This is an S!}
You will find this recipe stored in my “Snacks” category because it’s absolutely wonderful for a snack with Pita Chips any day of the week! The dip would also taste amazing with homemade Cheese Crackers or veggies as well!
Going dairy free for a while? Just leave out the cheese and sour cream and it still tastes out of this world! Make it your own and try adding a few other spices if you like!
Speaking of spices, who loves garlic? Meeee! I buy this big~bad~boy from Sam’s Club so I’ve yet to run out of garlic for the past, oh 6-8 months or so! And my container doesn’t even look like I’ve made a dent in it yet! Best price/buy ever.
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
- ¼ Cup Almonds (I use whole almonds with the skin and they chop up fine)
- 2-3 Garlic Cloves, roughly chopped (or 1-2 tsp. Minced Garlic)
- ½ - ¾ tsp. Kosher Salt (taste and adjust as needed after blending)
- ¼ Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1-2 TBS Sour Cream (I use Reduced Fat)
- 1 TBS Olive Oil
- Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix until desired consistency
- Chill (optional)
- EAT!
