Firehouse Subs

Everyone has that *special* restaurant that they just love and crave every once in a while. One of my happy places is Firehouse Subs! The way they cook their meat with the cheese in those hot iron steam press thingies is just perfection for me. I was delighted to find out that they offer a “gluten free” option for their subs! And look! They even have upscale flatware to compliment the pretty bowl. 🙂

So with the crunchy dill pickle and crispy shredded lettuce, who needs bread? It was still extremely enjoyable and satisfying! And yes, I took an Orange Honest Fizz with me as well as a little container with a few White Caramel Brownies! 😉 Fun THM weekender food for Jen!

(**Little Side Note** This may not be the perfect combo for a purist, so I encourage everyone to find what works for them if you are a fellow THMer.)

    Do you think I could get the engineer sub on lettuce like that too? You certainly are challenging me Jen! I thought I was disciplined with eating healthy?!!
