Cake Batter Frappa Recipe ~ YUM!

– 1 Cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (I buy the 64oz Almond Breeze in the Fridge Section at Publix when it’s on sale. I get it as low as $1.50-$3.00 depending on if I have coupons.)

– 1/4 Cup Cottage Cheese (See my previous post for getting it this week at Publix for as low as $.05 for 16oz!!)
(If you are dairy free, substitute cottage cheese with canned coconut milk.)

– 1 Scoop Whey Protein Powder (I buy Swansons brand because there’s no sugar and it’s the most natural protein powder out there. It’s also recommended by THM!)

– 1/8 tsp Sea Salt

– 1/4 tsp Baking Powder (I get aluminum free from Walmart and it’s the best price if it’s not on sale at Publix)

– 1/8 tsp Butter Extract (I buy the Watkins Brand from Walmart)

– 1/8 tsp Almond Extract OR Caramel Extract (Watkins)

– 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (Best price is at Sam’s Club! Only $6.88 for 16oz of McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract!)

– Sweetener to taste (I used 4-5 packets of Truvia – Sam’s Club has the best price: 300ct for only $13.78!)

Instructions:
1. Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender until smooth

2. Taste from blender and adjust flavorings if desired. (It’s going to taste slightly weird because it’s not cold yet;))

3. Add a handful of ice and blend until smooth (more or less depending on how think you prefer. Don’t put too much though or it will be watery.) Another fun option would be to freeze almond milk or coconut milk to make ice cubes.

4. ENJOY!
