So a little about me (Jen) and the purpose of this blog. There are two things in life that spike my adrenaline (very different than spiking blood sugar…check out the tab What is THM for more info on this!):
1. Conquering this overpriced world market we reside in by obtaining good buys on household/grocery essentials and sometimes just-for-fun items (which are completely crucial for the adrenaline rush as well;)). Aka, saving money!
2. Eating super yummy and tasty food that will in turn, shrink my waistline and boost my metabolism (all recipes on this blog are THM approved!). Aka, a happy and healthy lifestyle! (Notice the word “happy”…no bland, yucky tasting food on this blog, no way!) Check out some of my favorites: Homemade Granola, White Caramel Brownies and Sweet Muffins!
The marriage of these two motivating and inspiring goals for my life then encouraged me to create this blog, Jen Saves. Sometimes eating well isn’t always the best (health-wise) for your little piggy bank, so my mission is to find the best prices on the ingredients that will be in the recipes I post! I hope you find Jen Saves to be a helpful resource and tool in your life as you strive to provide well for you and your family!
